Jonathan Holbrook, DVM
Dr. Jonathan Holbrook brings over two decades of experience in small animal medicine to Camelot Animal Hospital. He previously led one of Ocala’s longest-established veterinary practices. Under his leadership, the hospital became the first veterinary practice in the Ocala area to earn accreditation from the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).
Dr. Holbrook’s professional interests include wellness and preventive care, dermatology, clinical pathology, behavioral medicine, senior and hospice care, as well as the diagnosis and management of challenging medical cases. What brings him the greatest joy is welcoming new puppies and kittens to CAH and helping their families establish a strong foundation for lifelong healthcare.
Dr. Holbrook believes effective veterinary care begins with listening, thorough evaluation, and clear communication. He places a strong emphasis on client education, helping owners understand their pet’s health and treatment options so they can make informed decisions about their care.
Dr. Holbrook is proud to serve the pets and families of Belleview, Ocala, and the surrounding Marion County community.
In his free time, Dr. Holbrook enjoys spending time outdoors and attending various sporting events with his wife, Holly; their daughter, Adalynn; their son, Hudson; and their family dog, Willow.
Michael Kohan, DVM
Dr. Kohan served as the lead veterinarian at Camelot Animal Hospital for more than 40 years. After an extraordinary career dedicated to caring for pets and supporting their families, he is now enjoying a well- deserved retirement. We are always delighted when Dr. Kohan stops by for a friendly visit and are grateful for the many years of dedication and service he gave us to Camelot Animal Hospital and our community.
